LA ROCHELLE BOTANICAL GARDENS

In the Imbeza Valley, south of Penalonga, is the botanical garden of the Hotel La Rochelle, renowned as one of the most beautiful botanical gardens in the country. Here flowers from all over the world are planted and visitors can admire the large collection of rare orchids. The gardeners have their hands full. Their work is admirable. A place appreciated by the inhabitants of Mutare, who like to come here for a picnic on Sundays.
