Less than 10 km from the center of Mutare, Inn On The Vumba is not in the Bvumba Mountains proper - the closest hotel to Mutare still retains a country atmosphere. It has 17 rooms and 2 cottages for families (4 persons), in a typical English style. The rooms are simple but quite comfortable. Beyond its beautiful view on the hills, Inn on the Vumba offers a swimming pool, a playground for children, a pub, a lounge and a restaurant. It is also a good base for a walk in the Bvumba Mountains.

Expensive breakfast that didn't meet the standard. Coffee served was chicory, fat spread instead of butter. Sausage was stale, eggs roasted. The place needs a serious upgrade.

No refrigerator in the room , no back up power to charge essential gadgets , wifi signal was good. The rooms were fairly clean, serious load shedding

Run down and over priced. TV channels could only be changed by going to the front desk???? shower was filthy... mildew. Dinner was so so and overpriced. Basic breakfast was good.
So disappointing since years ago I had great memories of coming to this place. I hope the inn can figure out quickly how to get things repaired and in much better shape for receiving their guests
