Jairos Jiri is an association founded in 1951. Its primary objective is to improve the lives of disabled people (especially physically disabled persons and blind persons) by providing them with handicrafts; the final result is displayed for sale in the large store of the same name. There are objects in traditional materials, very interesting and well-made, such as the famous Bulawayo baskets, statues, potteries, tapestries. The association supports schools and training centers in all parts of the country.
