Ivory Lodge is one of the first camps built in the Hwange region. Located just off the road between Bulawayo and Victoria Falls, it has its own playground: a huge wilderness area, where zebras, buffaloes, elephants and predators abound. It consists of 9 teak and thatch chalets on stilts with en-suite bathrooms and a deck. The large communal hut is equally sumptuous and has a breathtaking view of the water. Next door, the Tuskers Campsite has the same view and will delight the smaller budget.
