The Painted Dog Research Center, on the edge of the park, welcomes visitors who want to learn more about African wild dogs and Hwange National Park. A guided tour of the site is provided by an experienced guide. The center has a small museum to honor this endangered animal. The most interesting thing is to visit them, but in silence so as not to frighten the injured wild dogs, which are recovering in enclosures.
