This traditional tavern promises a pleasant break under the beautiful pergola that shades the courtyard. The cuisine offers classic dishes that are genuinely fresh, unlike many of the touristy restaurants in the area. The menu is limited but tasty, and you can sample some fine local wines. As this is a very popular address, it's best to book in the evening, especially in high season. Opt for the tables on the street to watch the world go by, or for the inner courtyard if you're looking for a little peace and quiet. Good value for money.

Nonostante l'apparenza(luogo carino anche se molto turistico) il cibo non è eccezionale, uno dei peggiori suvlaki che ho mangiato a Kos, carne non cotta, quasi al sangue..

Wir haben uns von den Bewertungen in das Restaurant treiben lassen. Dabei hatten wir Glück noch einen Tisch ohne Reservierung zu bekommen, gerade gegen Abend sehr zu empfehlen, wenn man nicht waren möchte. Bestellt wurde schnell, auf des Essen hat man länger gewartet, was an dem vollen Restaurant und der Zeit gelegen haben muss. Das Essen war sehr lecker und vor allem waren es große Portionen. Doch der Service war nicht so gut. Da das Personal eindeutige überfordert war.
Die Inneneinrichtung ist wunderschön, außerdem ist der Traditionelle Schnaps sehr zu empfehlen, dieser geht aufs Haus.

Wir haben uns auf die Bewertungen anderer Besucher verlassen und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Der Innengarten ist schön. Zweier Tisch wird ziemlich eng, wenn das ganze Essen gebracht wird. Kellner sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Essen war sehr gut.

The food was great and the restaurant’s decor exudes a rich cultural and antique charm. Tucked away in a cozy corner of town, it’s a hidden gem. We had to ask for the bill a couple of times before we were about to pay & leave otherwise no complaints.
