The Oakmont Country Club is a prestigious club country located in the city of Oakmont, Pennsylvania. Founded in 1903, he hosted numerous prestigious tournaments, including the US Open Golf (1927, 1935, 1953, 1962, 1973,1983, 1994 and 2007). He also hosted three PGA Championships, five U.S. Amateur Championships, and two U.S. Women's Open. This course is perhaps, quite simply, the hardest in North America, with 210 deep bunkers, sloping greens, and tight fairways requiring the greatest precision. Oakmont is often referenced in the Top 5 of the best American golf courses.
