RYUGASAKI COUNTRY CLUB
Ryugasaki Country Club is a golf club located in the town of Ryugasaki, in Ibaraki prefecture. It is an 18-hole course, ranked among the best golf courses in Japan. Designed by renowned golf course architect Sei-ichi Inoue, Ryugasaki Country Club is regularly ranked among Japan's top ten golf courses by specialist magazines. The club has hosted numerous national golf tournaments, including the Japan Open Golf Tournament, the Japan Ladies Open Golf Tournament and the Japan Amateur Golf Tournament. The club is open all year round, although the course may be closed in the event of snowfall during the winter season. The club is about an hour's drive from central Tokyo or 45 minutes from Narita International Airport. It can also be reached by train from Tokyo's Ueno station, with a journey of around 50 minutes to Ryugasakishi station, followed by a 20-minute bus ride to the club.
