Occupying a surface of 2 000 m ², this fortified village was founded in 1786 by a member of the Chan clan, who immigrated to the Fujian province and then that of Guangdong before coming to the New Territories. Sam Tung UK (the house at the Three Beams) was a prosperous village inhabited by peasant peasant families spread into twelve houses surrounded by a wall wall. Houses still contain various pieces of furniture. An exhibition shows various aspects of hakka life (festivals, ritual ceremonies, crafts).
