Taoist temple housing rich ancient treasures, including lanterns from Beijing's Imperial Palace
The Ching Chung Koon Temple in Tuen Mun is a unique Taoist sanctuary that also serves as a home for the elderly. Founded in 1950, it houses historical treasures such as precious lanterns from the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Visitors also discover superb classical Chinese gardens, dotted with meticulously tended bonsai trees and tranquil lotus ponds. It is dedicated to Lu Dongbin, one of the eight immortals of Taoism, revered for his wisdom and spiritual powers. Many Taoist weddings take place here.
