DAI WING WAH RESTAURANT
Here, we taste the traditional din pun, that is, the feast of the large bowl. It is a typical Hong Kong dish whose creation dates back to the Song dynasty (the th century of our era) and which brings together in a large basin a variety of ingredients such as several types of meat, seafood, mushrooms and various vegetables, superimposed on a final slice of Chinese radish. Particularly nutritious, this communal dish was originally used for imperial army troops in large wooden Hulls. Since then, it has been eaten especially during special celebrations, especially after winter.
