Lake with a picnic area under Mount Charvaz in Chamois.
The lake lies beneath Mont Charvaz at an altitude of 2,015 metres. To get there, you can take a 40-minute walk or a chairlift. During the summer months, the shores of the lake are invaded by a plant that grows in the water, leaving magnificent pink flowers only to appear on the surface. From the lake, you can see all the peaks surrounding the village of Chamois. On the opposite side of the valley, you can admire the Cima Longhede. A picnic area is available for walkers.
