DOBBIN HOUSE TAVERN
Built in 1776, the Reverend Dobbin's house is a historic building in the town centre of Gettysburg. It has an excellent traditional restaurant, where the waitresses, dressed as in the th century, serve pork ribs and cakes crabs accompanied by homemade bread. Dinner at Dobbin House comes from full entertainment. On the one hand, the restaurant is divided into various rooms, which correspond to the parts of the old home, which can lead you to eat a beef piece between the poles of a canopy bed. On the other hand, this historic building has, like several buildings of that time, a hide-out (hidden) which bears witness to the time when the slaves fleeing to the trans-abolitionist north (Underground Railroad). You can also enjoy a drink on the ground, in the basement in the tavern, which offers some cheap and tasty dishes.
