STATION MONTS JURA
The Monts Jura resort is a mid-mountain ski resort created in 1988 and made up of two villages, Mijoux and Lélex. It is the fusion of four sites that made up the ski area: since 1999, Faucille and Lélex-Crozet for downhill skiing, La Vattay for cross country skiing; and recently the Menthières site adds to the station's offer with initiation training to Alpine and Nordic skiing and snowshoe practice. The Monts Jura resort also offers a variety of mountain sports in every season. In winter, a 60 km track for downhill skiing spread over three areas: Lélex-Crozet, Mijoux-la-Faucille and Menthières will offer a panoramic view of the Alps and Lake Geneva basin. For those seeking nature, a 160 km track for cross-country skiing is spread over areas of La Vattay, La Valserine (in the valley) and Menthieres with all levels of difficulty. To connect the different areas and villages, a free ski bus runs throughout the winter season. Hiking, alpine coaster (on trail on the col of Faucille) take place in summer, rock climbing, mountain biking (cable cars will help you reach the top).
