The Town Hall is housed in a residence built in the 18th century by the Crestien family and stamped with the town's coat of arms. While the town hall is closed to visitors, the public garden is open to the public and offers a view over the green valleys of the region. Its parterre à la française, organized around a circular pond, features a bronze equestrian statue by Emmanuel Frémiet, a 19th-century animal sculptor, and a bust by Jules Chaplain, a sculptor born in Mortagne in 1839.
