Roman villa that probably belonged to a family of high social status, located a little outside the city
A little away from the city, the remains of a Roman villa were discovered in 1980, which probably belonged to a family of high social status and whose construction date varies between the 1st century BC and the 6th century. The foundations of the walls delimiting various spaces can be seen: residence, ovens, baths, storage room, and even a small necropolis. In 1992, an impressive collection of 1st century bronzes was discovered here.
