BOTANICAL GARDEN MARIMURTRA
Botanical garden with 4,000 species from five continents in an idyllic and steep seaside setting
4 000 species of the five continents thrive in an idyllic and hilly setting at the seaside. Created in 1921 by the German Karl Faust, botanist and patron, this unique space houses three reconstructions: a subtropical garden, a méditarranéen garden and a temperate garden. It is the endemic méditerranénennes species that are now receiving special attention. The garden has a lake and a large staircase leading to the Linnaeus pavilion, a position from which you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Costa Brava.
