LABEL "VILLAGES CRÉOLES"

This formula, created in 2002 by the House of Mountains and the Sea, is not, strictly speaking, an accommodation formula. This way of discovering the island offers circuits through 15 villages, Label Villages Villages  , which allow to immerse more intensely in the island Creole culture and all its specificities through a comprehensive approach  : accommodation, catering, visits and even evenings and entertainment, which are sorely lacking in the classic hotel. These 15 villages, located in the circuses of Bourg or Louis, in the South Wild, in the western Highlands, or in Saint-Leu and Sainte-Rose, first defined a development and beautification charter (flowering, rénovation of the Creole boxes), and then selected addresses shaped with Creole soul  : charming accommodation (hotels of more than 2 stars or guest rooms with more than 2 ears, or rooms in the living room with reference to the Charter of Creole Villages), restaurants and guest tables selected for their mixed kitchen (caris in the wood light, dishes on the floor of the land), visits and discoveries to meet the inhabitants (Creole beliefs, visit d'operation of sugar cane, trail of the flora of the high…) and finally animated evenings (initiation to séga and au, Creole picnic on the beach…). The tours offered by theme, from 3 to 14 days, offer you a coherent and authentic vision of La Réunion as Créole Balade, another trip (responsible circuit) or Words of elsewhere… other Encounters (a circuit in rooms in the inhabitant). Creole villages has been certified as the «Rurale de excellence rural  » and «  Laureate of the Awards of Responsible Tourism  » in 2007, category Culture and Heritage.
