CHRIS' HOT DOG
One of the most famous fast foods in the city and opened in 1917. The Hank Williams country music star ate regularly. Food is not the most delicate, but the atmosphere is worth a detour. You will obviously find the famous hotdogs, let yourself go "all the way", that is, with sauces, onions, adapted pickels. The decor is worth it: a retro dinner atmosphere, the walls are covered with photographs of the 1950 s and 1960 s. Including a magnificent portrait of Governor George Wallace (1919-1998) between a hunting photo and an article on the restaurant… This governor was demonstrated in the 1960 s by his segregationist positions before he publicly apologized in 1982. This was re-elected in 1983 for his last term, thanks to the support of Blacks.
