NANASTEAK
NanaSteak, Durham's first steakhouse, has become a city institution in just a few years. The restaurant was designed on the model of the New York steakhouses with a deliberately more open and brighter side. It is organized in two parts, the bar, very popular with locals to drink a cocktail or even dinner in a more friendly atmosphere and the restaurant part, more classic. At NanaSteak, we focus primarily on product quality. Most of the vegetables and meats come from North Carolina producers and the menu changes according to the seasons. Among the must-see attractions, try the rib eye or the NY Strip, served with a traditional mac & cheese. But if you want to taste something other than beef, duck is also excellent. The menu of appetizers is quite attractive, especially mussels and tomato pappa al pomodoro soup.
