DUKE LEMUR CENTER
The Duke Lemur Center, located in the Duke Forest, is a research centre dedicated to the preservation of lemurs whose survival is in danger following the disappearance of almost all their natural habitat. It is home to the largest population of lemurs in the world. In summer, lemurs live in the forest and in winter, they are indoors because they cannot tolerate temperatures below 5°C. It is therefore preferable to favour a summer visit. The premium visit will allow you to stroll among the lemurs, an experience not given but unique.
Visits are very popular and often booked weeks in advance, so it is advisable to book as early as possible.
