It is the oldest museum in North Carolina, and it is the attraction that attracts the most visitor every year. On three floors, the permanent exhibition presents the different ecosystems of the region, and presents a multitude of animal and plant species from prehistoric to present. The dinosaur sector, with beautiful fossil specimens, is particularly impressive. A place that enchanted both the big and the small.
