This magnificent building was designed in the 1920 s. Originally conceived to be a mosque, the architects of the crazy years that were charged with making it a huge place of performance preserved the original Moorish style. The theatre was inaugurated in 1929, shortly after the large stock market crash. Today the hall hosts concerts or productions of Broadway on a national tour. From the outside, we look forward to seeing the remarkable architectural features of the building.
