H&H RESTAURANT
An institution in Macon since its creation in 1959 by Inez Hill and Louise Hudson. There are many stories behind this establishment but we will remember above all the special relationship established with the Allman Brothers Band. A friendship that led Mama Louise to join their tour bus in 1972. A very popular address set up in a long room with a summary decoration and full of history, including many photos of the Alllan Brothers and other Rock posters. The clientele, young and old, from all social classes, came to dine around copious plates of sool food, traditional cuisine from the southern United States. Among the must-sees are the famous biscuits, grits and all kinds of desserts including banana pudding.
