1842 INN
With its superb white columns, 1842 Inn is an excellent example of a building designed according to the Greek revival style. Built in 1842 on behalf of John Gresham, former mayor of Macon, lawyer, judge and cotton merchant, who lived here until 1900 when the property was purchased by the B.F. Adams family. The new owners are at the origin of various changes. A cottage was located near the main building in 1983. 9 rooms are added to the already existing 10 and made available to the guests. All rooms are equipped with en suite facilities, cable TV and Wi-Fi.
