Telfair Museums brings together three institutions dedicated to art:
The Telfair Academy (121 Barnard Street) is the oldest public museum in the South. It houses paintings and sculptures of the th and th centuries.
The Owens-Thomas House (124 Abercorn Street) is one of the oldest mansions in Savannah. This is a very nice example of architecture Régence. It contains a collection of European and American objects and works dating from the period 1750-1830.
The Jepson Center (207 West York Street) is dedicated to contemporary art and a number of temporary exhibitions.
