MISSISSIPPI MUSEUM OF ART
This museum is open since 2007 and the beautiful gardens surrounding it (The Art Garden) were inaugurated in 2011, a hundred years after the creation of the Mississippi Art Association. Several exhibitions are presented, one of which is permanent and free, dedicated to the history of Mississippi. The museum and its gardens host many events throughout the year such as concerts, festivals and film projections. The Café Café, very pleasant for lunch, is on the terrace on the ground floor. Among the related buildings: the Jackson Complex Center, the Museum of Muslim Cultures, the Davis Planetarium and the Thalia Mara Hall (the municipal auditorium).
