THE OLD DEPOT MUSEUM
Set in the old railway station, this museum is dedicated to the history of the city, mainly presented as an exhibition of reduced models. The Battle of Rode and the life of the fighters and the population, are explained by a diorama of the battlefield of 25 m ² with 2 300 miniature soldiers and a film of 30 min: The Vanishing Glory. The museum also houses 250 different boat models (tugs, river boats, gunboat), several reduced models of trains, 150 reduced models of automobiles, a set of models representing different styles of architecture in Rode. Finally, there are also some paintings as well as objects dating from the civil war.
