This museum allows to discover life on the Mississippi River, its use for agriculture and the army, the wildlife there and the flood of 1927. Outside, a large-scale representation of the watershed allows the youngest to put their feet in the water. Finally, the museum offers a visit to the various bridges of the Mississippi IV, a huge diesel vessel built in 1961 and used for more than 30 years, mainly for the transport of equipment on the river and its inspection.
