In the time of slavery, Natchez was the second largest slave market in the South of the United States. Many of the Victorian residences in the city were built with the money of this trade. The exhibition explains in detail the system of slavery from an economic and social point of view. There are also antique objects, some of which are cold in the back, and some rare photographs of the time.
