HURRICANE KATRINA MEMORIAL
Katrina Memorial consists of several parts, including a wall about 7 m long and 3,50 m high covered by a painting representing the wave of the city on August 29, 2005. The height of the wall corresponds to that achieved by water at this location. In the nearby storefront there are various objects or elements identified or unidentified that were collected after the disaster. The names of the 173 victims and 3 disappeared in the Mississippi state are recorded on the extreme part of black granite. It is the team of the Extreme Makeover (Les Maçons du coeur) program of the ABC chain that opened this memorial on February 15, 2006.
