Replica of the Athens Parthenon, built in 1897 for the Tennessee Centennial Exposition in Nashville
This replica of the Parthenon of Athens was built in 1897 for the Centennial Exhibition of Tennessee. It has been extensively renovated several times and today stands as the centrepiece of Centennial Park in the West End area. Inside, there is a statue of Athena 12 metres high and many paintings. As a historical building and art museum, it is used in summer as a backdrop for theatrical productions.

Impressionnant!
