Frist Art Museum
A non-profit center dedicated to promoting art in all its forms in Nashville.
Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of lower Broadway, the First Art Museum is located next to the former 1900 Union Station Hotel. This non-profit center, which occupies no less than the National Register of Historic Post Office Building (which has a separate entrance), is dedicated to promoting art in all its forms. It offers first-rate temporary exhibitions throughout the year. Its café is open for lunch on Sundays. Formerly known as the Frist Center for the Visual Arts, it changed its name in 2018.
