Admittedly the prices are quite high, but Lonesome Dove is the promise of gourmet dining in Knoxville's Old Town. It's a carnivore's paradise, with a fine selection of meats and game. In particular, you'll have the opportunity to try elk and a variety of different compositions, all original and very tasty. The menu also offers vegetarian and seafood options. Please note that the meats are served on their own, so you'll need to order the side dishes separately. We like the decor, an old saloon that has preserved its authenticity. The upstairs area is more formal, while the area adjacent to the bar on the first floor is more relaxed.
