At the Carter Family Fold in Virginia, locals gather to listen to country and bluegrass music.
It is here on Saturday night, in this place of Virginia lost in the middle of nowhere, that the locals come to listen to country music and bluegrass, dance and exchange. It was a historic site created by Janette Carter to honour the Carter Family, which included her mother Sara, Father Alvin Pleasant (A.P.) Carter and her aunt, Maybelle. The trio of great stars in the country, this trio popularized what became one of the greatest musical genres. Today, it is Rita, the daughter of Janette who leads the site near where part of their lives lived her famous family and loved ones.
