FORT WORDEN STATE PARK
Go there and contact
Built in 1902, this former seafront fort was to control the entrance to the Strait of Puget Sound, with the help of two other forts, Fort Flagler on Marrowstone Island and Fort Casey on Whidbey Island. You can visit Commanding Officer's Quarters, a beautiful Victorian house that tells the daily life of officers in the early 20th century as well as the small Artillery Museum. Also worth seeing, Port Townsend Marine Science Center. The fort was made famous when it was used as the setting for the film Officer and Gentleman with Richard Gere
