THE GREAT BAOBAB TREE
This is one of Senegal's largest baobabs, an impressive specimen measuring 33 m in circumference and some 860 years old, in the heart of a forest that is home to multi-centenary baobabs. Its trunk is very wide, with folds and folds of beading. Vendors of all kinds are waiting for tourists, but to avoid putting pressure on them, they've decided to get organized. From now on, each of them takes it in turns to invite visitors into the tree to discover a colony of bats, and to give some very interesting information about the site.
