This is where most of the boats depart for Janitzio, which is quiet on weekdays and crowded on weekends, vacations and the Feast of the Dead. The crossing takes about twenty-five minutes. From here, you can also take boats to visit the islands of Yuñuen and La Pacanda, although the pier on the other side of the lake is quieter and allows you to spend less time on the boat. Just 5 minutes away is the San Pedrito pier (calle Las Americas), which also serves Janitzio.
