This small museum (Αρχαιολογικό Μουσείο Λαυρίου/Archaiologiko Mousio Lavriou) houses finds from the Laurion massif and Cape Sounion: neolithic objects from the Kitsos cave, funerary objects from the Mycenaean tombs of Thorikos, silver coins from the Laurion mines, sculptures from various temples, mosaics from an early Christian basilica... The centerpieces are the friezes from the temple of Poseidon on Cape Sounion (c. 440 BCC.).
