At the bottom of a 3 000 ha forest park, the Royal Palace of Tatoi resists Time, despite the scant attention that Greeks have to bear. Officially owned by the state since the early 2000 s, it has not yet been rehabilitated. A real farm and former king's home, the main villa and its annexes (stables, common, dairy and garde) are now almost abandoned. Acquired by the Royal Family at the end of the th century, the last King Constantin II was expropriated. Access by car is forbidden and visitors travel through walking paths or by bicycle. The frame is exceptional and the walk very quiet, just one hour from Athens.
