This former Dutch Protestant church, also known as St. Peters Kerk, is now completely empty. The furniture and bell have been transferred to the Anglican church in Puttalam. The large white building keeps its doors open at all times, devoid of any decoration where only the graves of Dutch settlers litter the floor. It was built in 1706 by the Dutch Reformed Church before becoming an Anglican church during the British occupation. In 2010 responsibility for the site was returned to the Reformed Church.
