This beautiful beach, also called Casoorina Beach or other variations, is located in the village of Karainagar, in the northeast of the island. It attracts many Sri Lankan tourists who come to enjoy the fine sand and the quietness of the ocean. Facilities have been made to accommodate the crowds that flock there on weekends and during the vacations, so the site has free showers and changing rooms in the open air. The slope of the beach is low and the water very warm. Unquestionably the most beautiful beach of the peninsula.
