Chaddy Beach (also called Charty Beach) is located in the southeast cove of Kayts Island. Less crowded and less pleasant than Casuarina Beach, Chaddy Beach is nevertheless one of the best known beaches in the area. It is long and very quiet, with clear and shallow waters, ideal for swimming. Only a few locals come to swim there. An old pontoon can be used as an observation deck. It can be a short stop on the way back to Jaffna. Some accommodations are available nearby.
