The Keerimalai temple is of great religious importance and the waters of its spring are said to have therapeutic values. The water, which flows through the cracks and crevices of the rock from Tellipallai-Maviddapuram, gets loaded with carbon dioxide and flows into this pool where it mixes with the ocean water. The pool is about 25 by 10 meters and is really beautiful. All around, there are steps for a gradual entry into the water.
