This impressive arch dam, typical of narrow valleys, was inaugurated in 1985. It is named in honour of the British Empire's Queen Victoria. With a height of 122 m and a length of 520 m, it is the largest dam in the country. It was built to regulate land irrigation and to provide hydroelectric power. Visitors can access the dam to enjoy the magnificent view from a vantage point. Call the dam office before you come and you can enjoy a guided tour.
