This Romanesque church is one of the oldest in the département, and one of the few attested before the Norman Conquest. Built between 1089 and 1125 of sandstone and granite, it features wall paintings from the 12th and 14th centuries. These were rediscovered in the 19th century under 17th-century whitewash and restored. Other original features include a painted wooden vault and a silver-plated pewter Stations of the Cross by sculptor Christian Malézieux, whose workshop is just a few yards away.
