A cathedral built in Gothic style, with an imposing structure and statues above the entrance.
The church was originally called "Notre Dame du Bon Port du Mouillage de Roseau" in French. It is the seat of the Diocese of Dominica. The cathedral building, which was begun in 1916, is worth seeing because it is built of volcanic stone. Built in the Gothic style, it is a typical example of the European influence on the architecture of that time. Its structure is imposing with its statues located above the entrance.
