SHARK HOLE

One of Barbados' hidden gems, this little cove is hard to find but well worth the effort. Accessible by stairs, it is, as its name suggests, a hole dug into the cliffs by the waves, almost creating a natural swimming pool. At low tide, it reveals a small beach with crystal-clear waters. This is the best time to swim, provided you don't venture too far. After school, children love to jump off the cliffs and perform acrobatic tricks. Don't worry about sharks - there aren't any!
