ESPLANADE ET MARCHÉ AUX POISSONS

Two meeting places for Speightstown locals. The first is the fish market (a covered market, for a change), which you can take a look at or stock up on if you're staying in a rental. Next door is the esplanade, which serves as a kind of "town square". Many people gather here on the benches in the shade of the trellises, especially at dusk when the air gets cooler. Between the two, a jetty juts out into the sea.
