COLLETON GREAT HOUSE
Great house built in 1650, offering charming rooms with four-poster beds, Persian rugs and dark wood furniture.
Dreaming of a historic stay in a great house? Then this is the place for you. Built in 1650 by John Colleton, an exiled royalist turned sugar baron, the property remained in his family until 1805. The rooms exude the charm of yesteryear, with four-poster beds, Persian rugs and dark wood furniture. Former owner Frank Rickwood, an Australian art collector, left a significant imprint with various paintings and unique pieces brought back from Papua New Guinea, before the Davy family acquired the property in 2019.
